Coming Soon....
*** As we switch over to the new site and blog we are having email issues. If you have emailed me in the past 2 days and have not received an answer please try again at julie@juliecampbellphotography.com. Thank you for your patience.
I've been slow to update the blog because I've been busy creating a brand new website and blog. The website offers larger pictures, and a new and improved shopping cart that will be much more convenient and easier to use. I'm looking forward to it going live sometime this week. Stay tuned!

Newborn: Shaili
I was blessed to photograph another beautiful newborn baby recently. Shaili was not a fan of showing her skin, but in the end she tired out enough to let us take some of her in her birthday suit. My favorite ones are the ones where she is with her parents. I just love watching new parents with their babies. They couldn't be more in love with their new little one.
You gotta love that smile. Even as a newborn her daddy has a special sound he uses to make her smile.

I thought this Indian cradle was so beautiful.

Shaili's grandma has that special grandma gift of being able to calm babies. She was so fun to talk to.

Let's Go Fly a Kite
When the weather in January is more like summer than winter it often comes with wind. Windy weather is my least favorite kind of weather, but my sister helped salvage a windy afternoon for us by inviting us to the park to fly kites with her kids. We had such a good time! I know my kids and I are excited to go do it again sometime soon.

Oh So Sleepy
Oh the life of a 9 day old baby. Their days are filled with sleeping, eating, filling up diapers, and every once in awhile squealing. The parents of new little ones are often overwhelmed with this task of taking care of a new life, and very very sleep deprived. The joys of a having a newborn make it all worthwhile. They really do grow up so fast.
A month or so ago I did a maternity session with this gorgeous couple. Angeline and Tony are now the proud parents of a beautiful baby girl. Congratulations again!

In the Hills
My brother and his wife were visiting for Christmas back in December when I took some family photos for them. Poor little Ada was sick and feeling awful which cut things short a bit. It was wonderful to visit with these guys who don't get to come out here very often.
I'm so happy we got some smiles out of her.
I know I'm biased, but I just can't get over that big infectious smile.
Doesn't he have stunning eyes? He can be serious...
or funny
I love this picture of father and son....
and parents and daughter.

Birthday Time
I've been so busy the past few months with my photography business I can't even remember when I've had a weekend off. This weekend was extra special because it was my oldest daughter's birthday. She turned 9, and we celebrated with a special spa party at our house. She and her friends had a great time getting a facial, their nails done, and their hair done. There was also plenty of goofing off and dancing to High School Musical. I have to thank my sister who traveled about an hour and 15 minutes to come help me. I still can't believe my baby is 9 years old already. My how the time has flown by. I still vividly remember seeing her for the first time after she was born, and loving everything about her. Oh how I love her red hair and bright blue eyes. I guess you could say I'm a proud mommy.
